Ties is a graphic designer and photographer based in the southern Netherlands. He expresses a sense of playfulness and joy in his work, combining comic-like graphics with organic lettering and tactile imagery. Pursuing a photographic itch, he aims to document modest scenes and people, focusing on the play between decay and bloom. In his free time, he likes to read Murakami novels, listen to schmaltzy music, or stare at a wall.
